Omaha police are investigating an accident that happened just before 11:00 p.m. Friday near 42nd and R Street. A 2001 Honda Accord was southbound on 42nd Street and veered to the east, left the road and hit a large brick retaining wall.
The collision caused severe but non-life threatening injuries to the unrestrained driver identified as 19 year old Yulissa Partida-Alvarez of Omaha. She suffered a broken leg in the accident. Charges are pending.
