An Omaha teenager has admitted that she threw her newborn baby to her death from an apartment window last Autumn.
Omaha Police say Antonia Lopez gave birth to a two pound baby girl in her bedroom and then threw the baby out the window, killing the infant.
Authorities say Lopez made the plea of admission after the case was transferred to juvenile court. She had been previously charged as an adult in the case.
The judge ordered Lopez to receive medical and psychiatric care.
She has been in temporary foster care and was ordered to still attend school. As of now, she will not be returning to her mother's home.
