Know anyone looking for a summer job?
The calendar may say February but preparations are underway to hire employees for the College World Series.
Spokesperson Kristi Andersen says The Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority is holding a job fair Tuesday, February 14th from 11 AM to 7 PM at the CenturyLink Center lobby. "We need to hire an additional 150 people just to work the College World Series, those folks will also work probably some Creighton baseball games as well."
Andersen says they have multiple positions open for those looking for summer employment. "Ushers, our ticket takers, our crowd managers. They are sort of the eyes and ears of the stadium, so they will be interacting with guests a great deal."
Pay for the positions vary from $9 and $10.75 an hour.
There will be free parking available in Lot D for those attending the job fair.
