An Ohio man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend in Glenwood, Iowa last September.
A Mills County judge handed down the sentence Monday morning to 27 year old Mark Troutman. He was convicted of shooting and killing 18-year-old Kathryn Weber outside of Linwood Estates, an assisted-living facility in Glenwood where she worked.
Troutman traveled from Ohio to Glenwood and was arrested at a hotel after the shooting.
