In court Friday morning, Omaha realtor Dirk Blume, was ordered to stand trial for the death of convenience store clerk Seth Hansen.
Police say Blume was behind the wheel of the truck that struck and killed Hansen outside of the Speedee Mart on 138th and Maple on January 7th.
Blume has been charged with second degree murder, a charge his defense team disagrees with.
They say police have no witnesses and that Blume is being over-charged. His defense argued for a manslaughter charge.
Prosecutors say that Blume's actions were intentional in using his truck as a weapon to kill Hansen.
If found guilty, Blume faces 20 years to life in prison.
