A man has died after a two car crash Thursday evening near 30th and Kansas. Investigators say a 2011 Kia sedan, driven by 71 year old Michael McCasland, was northbound on 30th Street.
A witness said the Kia drifted out of its lane and struck the front end of a westbound 2003 Buick sedan, which was stopped at the intersection.
The impact caused both vehicles to end up in the grass along the south side of Miller Park. McCasland was taken to CHI Creighton where he was later pronounced dead.
It is believed that he suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.
