Lincoln Police were able to arrest nine people in conjunction with a nationwide sex trafficking initiative headed by law enforcement in Chicago.
Authorities say two of the suspects arrested in Lincoln are from Omaha.
The suspects are identified as:
Tanisha Guevara of Lincoln: Prostitution
Samantha Kelly of Lincoln: Prostitution
Christopher Mirabal of Lincoln: Solicitation
Keidarryl Watson of Lincoln: Solicitation
Adam Wheatly of Lincoln: Solicitation
Christopher Moses of Lincoln: Solicitation
Talasia Lillard of Omaha: Prostitution
Dajae Richardson of Omaha: Prostitution and Possession of Marijuana
Alney Tobias of Troy, NY: Solicitation
The nationwide crackdown was conducted from January 18th to February 5th with 30 law enforcement agencies in fifteen states participating.
Authorities say this year's operation had the highest number of arrests and participation since the initiative was started in 2011.
