An electrician who was injured on the job in December has died. Nebraska Medical Center officials confirm to NewsRadio 1110 KFAB that 59 year old Steven Nitz has died.
Nitz suffered burns and was electrocuted while working at a Sprint Communications building in downtown around 4:45 a.m. on December 13th.
Firefighters were called in to put out a small fire in the main electrical room. Investigators found the fire was accidental.
