It was a frantic scene inside the Walmart store near Saddle Creek and Chicago Street late Monday monring. An officer patrolling in the area of Saddle Creek Road and Dodge was approached by a citizen in the Walgreen's parking lot around 11:15 a.m.
A 16 year old boy told officers that he was robbed and that the suspect vehicle was in the Walgreen's parking lot. The officer saw a man get out of the vehicle and start running to the northeast.
The vehicle then drove off to the south. Witnesses told officers that the suspect possibly ran inside the nearby Walmart.
Officers swarmed the area and searched the store, but did not locate the suspect. Officers eventually found 19 year old Sebit Mayot near 45th and California. Sebit was booked into Douglas County Corrections for robbery.
