An Omaha man is lucky to be alive after he rolled his SUV late Friday night.
Police say the driver of a 2002 Ford Explorer was on the northbound Highway 75 on-ramp from westbound I-480 around 10:15 when he lost control.
The SUV left the roadway and rolled, striking a bridge support. Police say 48 year old Mederith Scott wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He suffered a broken leg and some abrasions.
Police say Scott was speeding and had been drinking.
