IOWA MAN GOES VIRAL FOR SHARK ICE SCULPTURE
After a recent snowstorm, Iowa City artist Carlos Maldonado created a shark out of snow. The cold creature, which was painted grey and has bloody teeth, took six hours to create.
The shark has since gone viral on social media. Maldonado enjoys painting in the elements and has competed in several plein-air competitions.
"With every painting, even though it might not be my best work, it was my best work at the time, and it’s the best that I could do with the circumstances," Maldonado said of his hobby.
