Hollister, California residents were confused on their way to work as new, zigzag yellow lanes appeared on their roads.
The confusing line patterns on Ladd Lane appear to be a contractor error. The road was supposed to have slightly curved lines, but this plan may have been misinterpreted.
The contractor will redo the lines at no charge to the local taxpayer.
