Police in Washington state say someone stole a massive slide from the playground at Tierra Vida Park in Pasco back in December, and on February 26th, officers found the 400-pound slide inside a child’s bedroom in a mobile home in Burbank.
Pasco police say they made the discovery while investigating recent catalytic converter thefts. They say the top had been sawed off the slide, and it was also repainted and mounted on a bunk bed. Pasco Parks and Rec arrived and recovered the slide, and police arrested Dustin Bushnell on investigative hold for possession of stolen property for the slide.
