(Douglas County, NE) -- An update is given about skeletal remains found in western Douglas County earlier this month.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says the remains were found on March 14th near 216th and Rainwood Road, just north of Elkhorn. DCSO says preliminarily, Forensic Anthropologists believe the skull is the remains of an adult male of European descent. Investigators are currently pursuing DNA and dental analysis.
