(Fremont, NE) -- A Fremont woman is facing charges in the September 2022 death of a La Vista man.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says on Wednesday, 30 year old Marisa Utterback was arrested for suspicion of manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid and tampering with evidence.
Investigators say Utterback was driving near Highway 275 and Morningside Road in late September when she reportedly hit 27 year old Yashua Martinez, who was walking in the area. Martinez's body was found by a construction crew on September 22nd.
