(Omaha, NE) -- Those out celebrating St. Patrick's Day in Omaha can get a free ride home if they've indulged a little too much.
Omaha law firm Hauptman O'Brien Wolf & Lathrop's Safe Ride Home program is being offered again this year from 4:00 Thursday afternoon through 2:00 Friday morning. Rides will be offered through Uber and zTrip. In order to book a ride through zTrip, you will need to call 402-292-2222 and selection option #2. Option #2 will connect you to a dispatcher. When calling, you must tell the dispatcher you want the Hauptman O’Brien Safe Ride Home. If you call and don't tell the operator you'd like a Safe Ride Home, you will be charged for the ride.
To get an Uber voucher, you will need to fill out a form on Hauptman O'Brien Wolf & Lathrop's website here.
Hauptman O'Brien says only one free ride per person is allowed and that rides are provided within Douglas & Sarpy counties only. You cannot get a ride to or from Iowa. Riders will also only be taken home or to a hotel, not to another event location or bar.
