(Lincoln, NE) -- The Husker football program lands another big quarterback commit through the transfer portal.
On Monday, former Florida State Quarterback Chubba Purdy announced he's coming to Lincoln. Purdy's addition to the team comes less than two weeks after the program snagged former Texas Quarterback Casey Thompson. Purdy and his family made an official visit to Lincoln last weekend before making his choice, picking the Huskers over an offer from Oklahoma.
Nebraska now has five scholarship QBs on the 2022 roster: Chubba Purdy, Casey Thompson, Logan Smothers Heinrich Haarberg and Richard Torres. Spring practice starts February 28th.
