(Omaha, NE) -- The UNO Hockey team is postponing this weekend's series against Denver due to COVID-19 cases in the Mavericks' program.
On Tuesday, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced that this weekend's series, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Baxter Arena, has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Maverick hockey program. The series has been rescheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 4-5, at Baxter Arena. All tickets for this week's games will be honored at the rescheduled games in February.
UNO is expected to return to the ice on January 14-15 at North Dakota.
