The investigation continues with a person in custody after a woman is hospitalized as a result of a shooting at Standing Bear Lake in northwest Omaha.
Police say it happened around 7:15 Thursday evening near 138th and Fort Streets.
Officers, first dispatched to the lake by 9-1-1 on reports of a disturbance, heard a gunshot a short time later.
Investigators believe this was a random shooting and the injured person did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
