The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says the crash was on Highway 2 between S 120th and S 134th Streets during the noon hour Sunday.
The Investigation shows an eastbound Chevrolet pickup truck crossed the center line and struck a westbound semi truck.
The Sheriff's Office says the driver of the pickup, 43-year-old Eli N. Miller, died at the scene.
The driver of the semi truck was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
Bennet Fire and Rescue, Lincoln Fire and Rescue, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Lincoln Police Department also responded to the crash.
