The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says State Patrol troopers arrested 24-year old Ashley Bratic, a corporal at the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility, for unauthorized communication with a prisoner.
Corrections says Bratic has been employed by the corrections department since June 1st, 2020.
They say this is the only facility where she has worked.
Corrections says Bratic resigned her position with the agency upon her arrest.
Unauthorized communication with a prisoner is a Class IV felony in the State of Nebraska.
