(Bellevue, NE) -- An investigation is underway following a Sunday shooting in Bellevue.
Bellevue Police say the shooting was reported in the 1600 block of South Galvin Road just before 6:00 Sunday night. Investigators say once on the scene, officers found a 26 year old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The man, who has not been identified yet, was taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment.
Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting and looking for any suspects. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Bellevue Police Department at 402-293-3100.
