(Lincoln, NE) -- A Lincoln foster father is behind bars, accused of sexually assaulting one of his foster children.
Lincoln Police say on March 19th, a 17 year old boy called the DHHS hotline to report that he’d been sexually abused by his foster parent, 42 year old Graciano Lopez. LPD says investigators interviewed the victim, who reported that he’d been sexually assaulted by Lopez several times over roughly the last two years.
Police say on Tuesday, investigators located, interviewed and developed probable cause to arrest Lopez for 1st Degree Sexual Assault.
LPD says the investigation is still ongoing as investigators work to determine if additional victims may exist. Lopez ran a business called Jolly Bean’s Magic Castle that sold kids’ toys, magic supplies, and candy, as well as offered magic shows for parties, singing telegrams and mime shows.
