(Beatrice, NE) -- A Beatrice fencing contractor had his first appearance in court today on numerous fraud charges.
Travis Kechely faces 15 counts of theft by deception. He is accused of taking down-payments for projects not started or completed.
Prosecutors say they want Kechely to get projects done or pay back customers.
Kechely has put up 10% of his 10-thousand dollar bond. If convicted, he faces up to 60 years in prison.
