(Council Bluffs, IA) -- The search is on for a man Council Bluffs Police say robbed a Walgreens at knife-point Tuesday morning.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says around 3:00 Tuesday morning, officers were called to the Walgreens near 25th and West Broadway for a reported robbery. Investigators say a black male suspect, wearing a black hooded coat, gray sweatpants, black face mask and white shoes, entered the store and walked to the back. Police say the man then went to the register and grabbed a bag of Cheetos.
Then they say the suspect went around the counter and took a knife out of his pocket. Investigators say the suspect told the clerk to open the drawer and put the money in a bag. The man then left the store and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
