A 15 year old has been arrested in connection to the death of a 19 year old woman.
Omaha Police say the 15 year old was arrested on Friday on a charge of Accessory to First Degree Murder in connection to the shooting death of 19 year old Nomi Herrera.
OPD says on the night of October 29th, officers were called to the area of 33rd and Weber Street for a personal injury accident. When they go to the scene, officers found a vehicle off the roadway. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle, Herrera, was found behind the wheel suffering from a gunshot wound.
Herrera died from her injuries the next day.
