After being canceled this year because of Covid-19, two major NCAA events will come back around to Omaha.
The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is one of them.
The CHI Health Center will host first and second round games in 2024 with Creighton University as the host institution.
The city of Omaha will also host the NCAA Volleyball Final Four in 2022 at the CHI Health Center, with the University of Nebraska as host.
The coronavirus wiped out this fall's volleyball semi's and finals that were to be held in Omaha.
A third Division One program in the state also gets in on the act;
The NCAA also announces the Omaha Mavericks and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority will host NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Regionals in 2024 and 2026 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center just off I-29 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
