With the help of an ER doctor who quickly came out to help, an Omaha woman gave birth to a girl in the ambulance just as it pulled up to UNMC in Omaha.
“Being able to do this professionally was certainly an emotional high. It was exciting and it’s always good to see a good result with mom and baby getting through it safely,” Dr. Eric Ernest of the UNMC Emergency Department told 6 News.
The mother and daughter are reportedly continuing to do well.
