A Plattsmouth man is dead following a Friday morning crash on I-480.
Omaha Police say just before 8:00 Friday morning, officers were called to a crash involving a motorcycle on southbound I-480 at the JFK on-ramp. Police say that a Yamaha motorcycle, driven by 31 year old Michael Corcoran, had slowed for traffic when was hit from behind by a Fiat 500, driven by 55 year old Brenda Berger.
Investigators say Corcoran was transported to Nebraska Medicine with life saving measures in progress. Police say shortly after arriving at the hospital, Corcoran was pronounced dead. Police say Berger was not injured in the crash and that charges are pending against her.
The crash remains under investigation.
