The Sarpy County Sheriff's office says a motorcyclist injured in a crash late Monday afternoon at 132nd and Harrison Streets has died.
Deputies say 23-year old Nicholas Scarpino of Omaha was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but died from his injuries later Monday evening.
Investigators say a westbound Mazda 3 collided with the eastbound motorcycle as driver of the Mazda attempted a left turn to go south on 132nd.
The driver of the Mazda suffered minor injuries.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Crash Response Unit continues to investigate.
