A medical marijuana initiative will be on Nebraska's November ballot.
Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen has certified that the ballot measure has enough signatures from registered voters to be placed on the November 3rd ballot. Medical marijuana opponents this week attempted to have the measure blocked, but Evnen rejected the request.
Evnen said that although opponents brought up some valid points about problems with the verbiage of the measure, he ultimately gave the initiative the green light.
