The Red Cross is helping those affected by an overnight fire in a South Omaha residence.
Fire investigators say the fire around one a.m. Tuesday was an accident, caused by unattended food that was cooking.
There were no injuries in the fire at 29th and S Streets.
Firefighters saw smoke as they pulled up, but quickly controlled the fire.
