Omaha Police say 24-year old Bryan Wright was killed after he crashed his motorcycle into the trailer of a semi in the intersection of 132nd and L Streets Monday morning.
Investigators say a northbound semi ran a red light, causing the crash.
Wright was rushed to the hospital "Code 99," with CPR in progress, but died shortly after arrival.
Police say the driver of the semi was booked into Douglas County Corrections for misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide.
