OMAHA, Nebraska -- Police say a teen talking to friends on the front porch was hit by bullets that came from the direction of the street.
Omaha Police were called to North 33rd Avenue near Hartman just after 11 Friday night.
WOWT 6 News reports the 17-year-old is expected to survive.
Investigators say the teens were hanging out and talking when they heard gunfire and the boy was hit.
