Two people are killed, and another person is hospitalized in serious condition after a three vehicle crash in Northwest Omaha Wednesday evening.
Omaha Police accident investigators say an SUV southbound on 90th St. ran a red light at Maple St. and hit a pickup truck going through the intersection eastbound, breaking it in two.
The driver of the Dodge Nitro that went through the red signal is now in serious condition. Police say charges are pending against her.
A third vehicle was also involved.
Another person was taken to the hospital to be checked out for injuries not considered life threatening.
