An Omaha woman has been arrested, accused of robbing a credit union Thursday evening.
Omaha Police say officers responded to the Metro Credit Union near 44th and Ames Ave.just before 5:00 p.m. for a reported robbery.
Witnesses told officers a woman entered the bank and demanded money. She then grabbed the cash and then fled the business on foot.
Officers later found 35 year old Taita McKnight a few blocks away. She was arrested and booked into Douglas County Corrections for robbery.
