Rescue crews in Sarpy County are searching for an eight-year old girl who disappeared into the Platte River near Schramm park on Thursday afternoon.
The girl, Tarie, was last seen wearing a pink and white swimsuit. Officials say it's unclear if she was wearing a life jacket.
Authorities in Sarpy County planned to search until she is found, or until it gets dark. Anyone in the area is asked to keep an eye out for her.
Helicopters, boats, and crews on land are currently searching for her.
