The Omaha Farmers Market opens this weekend and will continue through October 11.
New health and safety policies will be enforced this season, including social distancing. The first hour of each market will be designated for seniors, people with underlying health conditions and expectant mothers.
Protective masks are highly encouraged for everyone attending and no pets will be allowed. On Saturday's location will be the top level of the City Parking Garage at 10th and Jackson and the hours are 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
On Sundays the market will be set up in the parking lot of Baxter Arena from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
