COVID-19 Testing Resumes In South Omaha On Monday

Nebraska residents waited in long lines to be tested for COVID-19 on Sunday. Douglas County Health officials say a site near 30th and L in Omaha reached capacity Sunday morning when 300 people were tested in one hour.

The testing site was operated by One World Community Health Center along with state and local leaders.

Testing will resume Monday morning and will continue for the next two weeks from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, or until the tests run out.

The testing site is in the parking lot across the street from the One World Health Center in South Omaha. Priority will be given to people with symptoms or who work at meat packing plants.
