Omaha's Archbishop George Lucas is visiting CHI Health hospitals in the metro Wednesday morning.
CHI Health says Archbishop Lucas will bless the health care teams who’ve been caring for COVID-19 patients since early March. He will be welcomed by CEO Dr. Cliff Robertson, nurses, doctors, housekeeping and other members of the staff.
The Archbishop’s visit will begin at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy at 6:30 a.m. He will provide words of encouragement, his blessing and his thanks to caregivers during shift change. Followed by similar ceremonies at CHI Health Immanuel, Lakeside and Midlands.
