Omaha Police say a 12 year old boy has been arrested for a stabbing Wednesday afternoon that put a 14 year old in the hospital.
Erik Lares told police he was walking near 42nd and Madison around 2:00 p.m. when four males pulled up in a green four door vehicle. Police say they got out and began fighting with Lares.
During the scuffle, he was stabbed in the chest with a small knife and returned home and called the police. He was then transported to Nebraska Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
The 12 year old is facing felony assault and weapons charges.
