New details have been released in connection to three people found dead at a Ponca Hills home on Monday.
A statement from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday says that the indiviudals were found by s person who was at the home for a child custody exchange with someone at the residence.
The Sheriff's Office says the Uniform Services Bureau was called to the home near 54th and Florence Acres Road just before 12:30 Monday afternoon for a possible overdose with parties down.
When first responders arrived at the scene they found 24 year old Michael Stewart, 32 year old Michael Hansen and 24 year old Courtney McGuire, all of Omaha, unconscious and showing no signs of life.
The DCSO says interviews with the victims’ associates revealed all parties were last seen alive at the house within eight hours of their discovery. Investigators obtained a search warrant and the scene was processed by members of the Douglas County Sheriff Crime Lab.
Preliminary observations made at the scene did not point to any recent acute illness or foul play. At this time, there is no indication of specific danger to the general public.
