The Douglas County Health Department reported another COVID-19 coronavirus-related death on Thursday.
The Health Department says the most recent victim of COVID-19 in Nebraska is a woman in her 60's who suffered from underlying health conditions. It is the sixth coronavirus-related death in Douglas County and the 15th statewide.
The Health Department also confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Thursday. These new cases involve four men and nine women all between 25 and 89 years of age. Eight of the people had contact to a known case and one is related to travel while four remain under investigation. Douglas County now has seen 198 cases of COVID-19.
