The City of Omaha is relaxing their parking meter enforcement amidst the COIV-19 coronavirus pandemic.
In a Monday news release, Park Omaha said that starting immediately, they will no longer enforce expired parking meter violations. Those who park on-street for overnight parking are encouraged to continue using their normal space.
Park Omaha said they will still enforce violations for time restrictions, handicapped parking, blocking streets, sidewalks, alleyways or fire hydrants and any other safety related issues.
