Goodwill officials say they will close their retail stores, donation centers and administrative offices on Sunday evening at 6:00 due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
They are also suspending services at training sites and modifying services at other contracting sites.
Goodwill says they will continue to pay all employees their regular wages for two weeks. After that, employees can use their accrued sick time and they are making arrangements to enable employees to borrow sick time if they don't have any built up.
Tentatively, Goodwill plans to reopen on Thursday, April 23. "As we monitor the coronavirus situation, as well as local, state and federal recommendations and mandates, we may revise this timeline," Goodwill said in a statement.
