More than 100 OPPD customers found themselves without power early Thursday morning after a crash just north of 84th and Cass.
Omaha Police say the driver of a U-Haul drifted off the road on 85th Street between California & Webster and took out a power pole around 6:45 a.m.
The truck ended up in the front yard of a home. OPPD says the crash left 106 customers in the dark and crews will have to replace the entire pole, a repair that will take several hours.
They estimate power will be restored around 2:00 p.m. due to the complexity of the work needed.
