Omaha Police have identified the man they say fired shots at the Hy-Vee store near 180th and Q Tuesday night.
When officers arrived at the store they found 21 year old Jacob Muhle being detained by a citizen and and off duty officers.
Investigators allege that Muhle used a handgun to shoot two vehicles in the pharmacy drive-through. He then entered the store, shot out the front window and a monitor, displayed the handgun while inside the store and fired more rounds.
Police say Muhle was then tackled and disarmed by a citizen and off duty Omaha Deputy Police Chief Scott Gray, who were both in the store at the time.
A second off duty Officer arrived on scene and helped detain the suspect until Omaha Police officers and Douglas County Sheriff's deputies arrived.
A woman suffered minor injuries while fleeing the store. Muhle was treated for minor injuries received during the arrest.
Muhle was booked for one count of Attempted Felony Assault, two counts of Terroristic Threats, two counts of Shooting at an Occupied Vehicle, five counts of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, and one count of Destruction of Property.
