LINCOLN, Nebraska - A Lincoln woman is again facing DUI charges.
Lincoln police on patrol saw several vehicles that had been involved in an accident at 27th and Capitol Parkway Tuesday. Two vehicles were at a stop light when the second car was rear-ended. That vehicle was then pushed into the one closest to the light. The driver that caused the accident left her vehicle and took off running.
Several officers arrived at the scene to search for the woman. They located 41 year old Angela Wilkason who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. She was identified by the other drivers as the woman who left the scene.
Wilkason was driving with a revoked license due to previous DUI arrests. Police say Wilkason tested .281, more than three times the legal limit for alcohol consumption.
Wilkason was arrested for felony DUI, 3rd offense, aggravated DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, driving during revocation and negligent driving.
