OMAHA, Nebraska - A Waterloo man is accused of sexually assaulting a 10 year old girl. 30 year old Jared Nichols is no stranger to spending time behind bars. 6 News reports investigators say he accidently shot the hand of a 4 year old back in 2017.
Nichols is now accused of sexually assaulting the girl five times a month for two years. Nichols will also be charged with making terroristic threats as he is also accused of threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone.
The girl also told investigators the assaults only stopped when Nichols was behind bars for shooting the child.
