A man is dead following a one vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in north Omaha.
Omaha Police say the driver of a Chevy Tahoe was westbound on Sorensen Parkway near 42nd Street around 2:30 a.m. and struck the center median. Police say the driver over corrected, left the road and slammed into a retaining wall.
The vehicle then came to a rest back in the roadway. Police say 47 year old Michael Parker of Omaha wasn't wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
